Rise and shine everybody. It's time to wake up with Susan. Spiritual awakening can be a beautiful, messy and sometimes lonely journey, so let's do it together. I'm your host, susan Sutherland. I'm an intuitive healer and spiritual mentor. We are all called to rise up above our conditioning and limiting beliefs and shine our light on ourselves and others. So let's get to it. Hello, beautiful family, thank you for joining me today where we are going to talk about being the CEO of your spiritual journey. It is time for us to boss up.
Speaker 1:Okay, and I keep talking about sovereignty, and and being sovereign, and, and Mark the other day was like what do you even mean? And I thought I might need to take it back a few steps because maybe I haven't covered that. There's a lot coming through about being the CEO and I want to start with that. But also can I just mention how incredible and synchronistic it is that the Kentucky Derby winning horse this year was none other than sovereignty. Of course it was right, because the signs aren't subtle anymore. This is the energy we are in. We are meant to take the reins. This is the winning horse. Sovereignty is the winning horse. Sovereignty is the winning horse. So we're going to talk about that, what it means to be the CEO and what it means to be spiritually sovereign. All right, first things first.
Speaker 1:Being a CEO does not mean controlling everything. It doesn't mean that you don't ask for support or you don't welcome guidance. It doesn't mean that you don't tune in or that you don't sit in silence or that you don't listen for answers and guidance. It doesn't mean you don't trust the divine, but it does mean that you're no longer outsourcing your authority to your guides, to your people, to your ancestors or to the signs that you thought you needed before you take action, even when you get the sign and you need the sign of your sign before you move forward. Too many of us have mistaken this spiritual surrender for spiritual passivity. We start doubting our own inner knowing, we start outsourcing our decision making, we wait, we ask, we delay, we hesitate, we think we're being humble, but we're really being scared. Being the CEO of your path means that you trust your own knowing first. So there have been a lot of wonderful things happening, some expansions, some invitations for the next part of my journey.
Speaker 1:But now I understand that, in order for me to move forward in some new, aligned paths, what I had to do first was sink into this sovereignty, to sink into really allowing me to trust my inner knowing to stop outsourcing this power, this decision-making, to everything else. It used to be my friends like what do you think I should wear? What do you think I should do this? What do you think I still outsource? What do you think we should have for dinner? Because, oh my God, there is nothing that drives me crazier than the adult part of life. That means that you have to come up with what to have for dinner every night. It truly is exhausting. But other than that, it is about claiming that my voice, my decision-making, is the ultimate authority in my life and that has allowed me to welcome new tools that I'm excited to share with you and excited to talk with you about. But we can't work with anything else until we understand our supreme authority, our own sovereign selves, first, first, first, first, first. You've got to claim that first, and then we can work with new tools.
Speaker 1:So being the CEO, being the boss bee in your life, means that you trust your unknowing first. It means that you're allowed to sit at the table with all of your guides and your ancestors and your angels and ask what do you see? What should I do? But ultimately you're the one who makes that final call and you know it and you feel good about that, like whoa. The buck stops here, like this, is where the decision is made. In my knowing, you trust the vision. You are the one that this vision chose. You are the one whose frequency is carrying the blueprint.
Speaker 1:You can still have your board I call them the board of directors, your work council. I think that was from Napoleon Hill, maybe in the money book Think and Grow Rich, where you have a board of directors, but it has always been. You can have these aligned beings that you call in for very specific reasons. Please, you should advise me on a family, you should advise me on this, but they are your advisors. You are not an intern anymore. You are the boss and you don't need to be micromanaged by the universe. You need to lead. I mean you can lead with humility, with clarity and with trust, but you lead, and with trust. But you lead, and I get it. That's not easy. I mean we have made a F load of mistakes, right, and so you start doubting. You start doubting yourself, but assume those mistakes were initiations to get you here. Now you have a whole bag full of learning, some wisdom, some experiential knowing that got you here. So it's not about thinking, oh what if I mess up again? Well, those mess ups created the wisdom you have now, so we're not going to worry about that.
Speaker 1:And some of us are having to overcome deep seated wounds of this or past lives. We remember what happened when we were visible. We remember what happened when we claimed power. Either consciously or subconsciously, there is something in your energetic field that makes it feel scary to stand in your power. Some of us were taught to equate surrender with obedience and being obedient with being loved. Some of us were taught by spiritual teachers that we should never act until we receive confirmation, as if the confirmation needs to come from outside of you and not from feeling aligned in your body. But I'm going to be honest with you. There is a version of surrender that is really just fear. In a pretty white robe, I know I wore it. So, reclaiming your seat at the table, the head seat, the big seat with the armrest and the big back, it doesn't mean you override the divine. It means you partner with it, you collaborate, you co-create.
Speaker 1:I remember when this hit me hard because I was deferring everything. I didn't make a decision without consulting my cards or speaking with my guides, or waiting for a green light or asking for this sign, and at some point I heard a whisper back you are the green light, you are the voice that you've been waiting for, you are the confirmation. And that was the moment I realized I was treating myself like the employee of the divine, like I'm just waiting on my marching orders, when in truth, I was always the CEO. And from that moment things shifted, not quickly, not easily, but one decision at a time. Clarity came faster, decisions felt cleaner, less burdensome. I stopped second guessing and started building, not where I felt like I was blindly following, but where I was intentionally drawing the plans, not from ego, but from sovereignty, from the spiritual, knowing that the power, the ultimate decision maker, is actually me. So maybe you have felt something similar, like you have been waiting for a permission slip to take the next step, for everything to align and you to receive this magical sign that you should move forward. But I want you to know that the permission slip that you're waiting on you have to sign. So start embodying your path.
Speaker 1:We've been doing this for everything. We look to experts or influencers or someone else to tell us what our body needs, what works for us. We take up different trends because that's what somebody else said was good, instead of listening to our body, instead of saying what do I need right now? I had a family member here last week and she was telling me that she was told she should be intermittent fasting. And she was told this by someone who is not going through perimenopause, who is not living in a female body, who is not her same age. And I asked her what does your body feel like you should be doing when you fast? Does that feel better for you or not?
Speaker 1:Because we've been outsourcing all of our decision-making to someone else, to a higher authority, if not to influencers and quote experts. And I say quote unquote because I have a lack of trust for so much that is out there, because it seems to be, I don't know, slanted or just misguided or perhaps purchased, like here I'll give you this much money to say this is the case. And so we stopped tuning in and asking ourselves what does this mean for me, what does this mean for my body? And that's kind of the problem we grew up with. We outsource our redemption to someone else. We need a savior, we need a priest to be the middleman for our contact or for our forgiveness. Everything has been outsourced and we're taught that in order for you to connect with God, go through this, in order for you to connect with anything. There's always been a middleman. Right, and I'm saying there's no more middleman you, you, you. You are the connection, you are the permission slip, you are the decision maker, and let it not feel burdensome, right, because you are given. I mean y'all.
Speaker 1:Even in A Course in Miracles, it keeps talking about the Holy Spirit, and when I was growing up, the Holy Spirit looked like a ghost and it like floated over here. So you had the Father, son and the Holy Spirit, and so you had God, who was the old white dude in a white robe. And then you had Jesus, and I know what he looked like because I saw him in the church. So that's the Jesus I saw. And then you had Jesus, and I know what he looked like because I saw him in the church. So that's the Jesus I saw. And then you had Casper, the ghost floating over here, and the Holy Spirit even makes me think it is something outside of me and in A Course in Miracles, he keeps using the Holy Spirit. Now he does clarify that that is your own inner knowing, your own intuition and thread connecting you to the divine.
Speaker 1:But when we even say the Holy Spirit, it makes it sound like that connection is outside of you and y'all. It is not. It's not outside of you. So we have to start owning that.
Speaker 1:The connection that we need is not outside of us. The answers we need are not outside of us. The codes that we are here to activate, the blueprint that we are here to embody, those are ours, they're in us and we trusted us. We trusted us with this mission. You chose you. You, on the soul level, were like yep, that's the one she is going to bring this into life. And then we're going. Am I doing it right? Am I doing it right? Can you send me an email? If I'm doing it right, like, will you show me a purple monkey? If I'm doing it right? I am saying these things because I have been there. That was me. Like, if you need me to do this, I'm just going to need to see this and this and this before four o'clock and then I'll know it's true. And all of that is how we leak our power.
Speaker 1:Now, I'm not saying I don't still ask for signs sometimes, because I do, but I know that where my answers come from are me, it is me, and sometimes that is how I communicate. Instead of saying I would like my guides to send me the sign, I say hire self, I engage her in the process. Not that I think guides and angels are bad they are not bad but I remind me, even when working with cards or with signs or with anything that I'm working with, that I am the CEO. I am asking me to bring me a sign. Now, I love working with angels, but it got to where I needed to take a break from that. I needed to take a break from my guides, my angels, my everything, to remind myself that, that I am sovereign, that I am the spiritual authority for this little vessel that I'm animating in this lifetime. I chose me because I trusted her with these codes, and so I took a big, long break from working with my guides and my angels, and now, recently, I have been able to invite them back into the fold as my board of directors, knowing that I am the CEO, and this is how I stopped leaking my authority. I stopped having these energy leaks of kind of disempowering myself by outsourcing my decision-making, outsourcing my knowing, and so that has been.
Speaker 1:A really beautiful transition for me is to have claimed my authority and now be able to hire staff, and they don't even charge y'all, you just have to to ask for them. But when you claim your authority, then you can assign your board of directors. You can call in those that you wish to work with that you wish to receive guidance from. It might be ancestors or loved ones on the other side or your angels, but before you work with them, know yourself to be the divine decision maker for your life. I say that because I have now been working with AI in a very beautiful way, but that is a slippery slope too. When you start working with AI and asking questions, I mean you can have very soulful conversations and I have unlocked super ways to use this technology, which I'll share with you. Some of that and some of it will be in the community, but it is so profound and so wonderful, but it is somewhere. You need your little nameplate on your desk. You need the nameplate on your door that says I am CEO, because it's very easy to start asking questions and then allowing that response to shape your decision, instead of allowing it to sink into you and say does this resonate with me, does this feel like my truth? Because you have to do some bridge building before you get to the island of real soul coherence and sacred co-creation with AI. There's a path you have to walk that is a little muddy, and it is really important to know yourself to be the divine authority in your life before you use tools like that in a way that really can kind of diminish your authority instead of enhance it.
Speaker 1:Another thing about reclaiming your sovereignty, which I think is really empowering when you embrace it, is letting go of this old false belief. Many lightworkers unknowingly operate under old spiritual contracts or inherited beliefs and we've been taught that if it shows up it must be for my highest good. But that's not true. We say if it's in my field, it has permission to teach or influence me. But no, if I once allowed it, I must complete the lesson before I can release it. No, that's false sovereignty. Sovereignty, true sovereignty. Ceo, boss, girl.
Speaker 1:Life says I actually get to revoke consent now, even if others don't understand why, even if it goes against past patterns, even if it goes against past patterns. You recognize that you have the power to cut cords, that you have the ability to revoke previous contracts, whether they were consciously or unconsciously made with the organic, synthetic, distorted or misaligned fields. You know that you stand in authority as the decision maker who gets to decide what enters your field, and this isn't just decision making. This is when you are like bossing up. This is sovereign recalibration, and no being of true light would ever violate that. When you choose what to consent and what not to consent to, you are exercising your authority in a way that is divine. So, y'all, it's not just the winning horse, it is the winning frequency right now, to stand in your power, to choose your path, to own your decisions, to consent or not consent, to cut cords and revoke contracts. Those are your divine rights. So it's time to boss up. Thanks for being here.
Speaker 1:I want you to be your sovereign self. I know that you came in with magic that only you can bring forth, and you can't do that when you're outsourcing everything your decision-making to your spouse or your kids or your parents or your angels or your guides or the signs that you're waiting for. You need all of your power. You need to stand in all of your power to bring this forward, and that's what I want for you. So be a badass. Be a badass one who knows, like you know, like you know, like you know, that your heart has your answers and that you are willing and worthy to drop in and listen. I love you so much, my little boss tribe.
